Between April and June, online trading volumes rose from around 500,000 a quarter to hit 700,000. Such trades also made up more than a third, 34.5%, of all execution-only sales. There is a growing trend in the market, while the need to invest for the future becomes even more important for investors to consider. A survey by market research recently recorded a 42% increase in online trades over the past year.

Some of the market research says that the volumes of online trading have grown in number by more than 50% since March. There are millions and millions of people trading online every 10 minutes but one must be cautious while trading online as many of the users are beginners in stock trade. One should have the knowledge of the stock markets and how they work. A proper trading should be applied before venturing into the stock market; otherwise one will end up losing money. There are two types of functioning in the stock market; one is trading and another is investments. Timing is also an important factor to consider when thinking of buying stock. It is a good idea to keep an eye on the market and focus on the stock of interest to see if it can be bought at a considerably lower price before it skyrockets to earn your profit. Therefore, with the right perspective of online trading, one can benefit greatly at minimal cost.
